Thanks to our earlier arrival last night, we were able to get started relatively early this morning. Cristen, Rodica and Felicia went up to PEARL to unpack and set up their instruments, while Emily and Zen headed to 0PAL to prep theirs. Cell measurements for the Bruker FTS were taken today, and the remaining instruments at PEARL are almost ready to take measurements.
The sun was barely visible today, and the periodic cloud cover made for a nice sunset at the end of the day.
After dinner, Oleg and Dave went to the fjord to plow the snow and make a small ice rink. A large group of us managed to make it out onto the ice, lace up, and play a game of hockey in the relatively warm (-25deg) weather - done just in time for tonight's Canada vs. USA Olympic hockey match!
