CANADA WON!!!! This is a great night for our entire Nation!
We took our fastest dinner ever to run back and follow the extra few
minutes and encourage our team. And Crosby made it one more time!
Our morning was also great. We couldn’t ask for better weather. The sun
came up straight above the clouds, shining through the haze, making
possible lots of measurements today. Both PARIS_IR and the Bruker 125HR
had a full day of solar measurements. Cristen moved back the UT-GBS to its
place, and left it taking measurements as well. Tomorrow she will start
troubleshooting the PEARL-GBS.
The MAESTRO and SPS are running happily. Tom and Volodya got
beautiful moon measurements last night.
At OPAL Emily wired up the polarotor, and worked with Graeme (at
Dalhousie) to run some tests. Zen was less lucky; the stirling cooler is working fine but the MR seems to be leaking, resulting in high detector temperatures, so the E-AERI had to be powered down.
