York University has also posted a short article in 2014 about their contribution to the campaign. York U Professor Tom McElroy was a co-inventor of the Brewer Ozone Spectrophotometer, an instrument used world-wide to measure and track ozone. He joined the research team with his grad student, Zahra Vaziri.
