Eureka on located on Ellesmere Island, Nunavut (80N, 86W).  It is one of the weather station sites used in the Environment and Climate Change Canada's Ozone Monitoring Network.  Daily total column ozone measurements are made using Brewer spectrophotometers and ozonesondes are launched weekly from Eureka.
